During this workshop, women will spend the morning getting to know each other and sharing about the land they manage. Based on the group's interests, we will discuss woodland management approaches and forest stewardship plans. Lunch will be provided. In the afternoon, we will do some tree identification and talk with local professionals about technical assistance and cost-share assistance options. We will wrap up the day with an opportunity for one-on-one planning/goal setting with the local forester or conservation professional. This event is free, but registration is required. Please register by Monday, October 7. Register by emailing Julia Baker at jaclymer@iastate.edu.
This event is offered through a partnership with the Iowa DNR and the Women's Woodland Stewardship Network program.
