The Women's Woodland Stewardship Network (WWSN) is partnering with the Iowa DNR and Bur Oak Land Trust to offer a chainsaw class for women that will be led by women instructors. Bur Oak Land Trust will lead the chainsaw education during the day, and WWSN and the DNR will lead an evening learning session about woodland management and tree identification. This is a nice weekend getaway opportunity and a great way to meet other women who care for woodlands!
Registration ins $90 and includes 4 meals throughout the weekend and overnight lodging at the camp. The deadline to register is March 22. Follow this link to register and learn more.
