Women, Land, and Legacy is partnering with the Women's Woodland Stewardship Network to offer a women's walk in the woods at Camp Liberty on April 27th from 1-4 pm. Female forestry professionals from the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF), and Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship (IDALS) will share information about tree identification and forest health.
The event will be at Camp Liberty at the Bea Conrad Pavilion. Parking will be available at the bottom of the hill just inside the gates. The Bea Conrad Pavilion is the first pavilion on the right when walking up the driveway.
