Webinar - Happily Ever After? Improving Edge-of-Field Practice Implementation after the Landowner Says "Yes"

Wednesday, September 1, 2021 - 12:00pm

The Iowa Learning Farms conservation webinar will feature Catherine DeLong, water quality program manager with Iowa State University Extension and Outreach. DeLong works statewide to bring people together to share resources, ideas, and perspectives about water quality, and to help Iowans understand the role they can play in the future of Iowa’s water resources.

In the webinar, DeLong will highlight tools and innovative processes that have been successfully applied to the implementation of wetlands, bioreactors, and saturated buffers across several Midwest states. Drawing on lessons learned throughout Iowa and surrounding states, she will offer perspectives and approaches that can simplify and streamline new edge-of-field installations.
