Crop Science Youth Education Specialist

Maya works with Ag and Natural Resources and 4-H Youth Development on state educational programs for youth related to crop science. She has a master’s degree in Plant Pathology and previously worked at the University of Wisconsin, teaching in the Department of Plant Pathology. As a member of the Integrated Pest Management team she develops curriculum, organizes state events, and leads programs for youth on a variety of topics related to crops with a focus on pest management and conservation practices.
