Emma is a Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) Outreach Specialist for the Iowa State University in partnership with the Iowa Departement of Natural Resources. She received her B.S. and M.S. in natural resources with her M.S. focusing on wildlife disease ecology. Emma focuses on delivering presentations about CWD mitigation and management to stakeholder groups and serving as a CWD resource for the community. She attends events including county fairs and archery festivals to provide one on one conversations about CWD in Iowa. Emma also runs the CWD incentive hunts in January in Allamakee and Clayton county, and assists the Iowa DNR wildlife staff with CWD sample collection during the hunting season.
