To comply with the University’s decisions related to the COVID situation, Iowa Learning Farms will be canceling all events between March 16-April 4.

HAZLETON, Iowa – Iowans will have another fall opportunity to tour a forest and ask questions during the Fontana Park Forestry Field Day Nov. 8.
Located in northeastern Iowa, in Buchanan County, this field day is being held by Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, the Iowa Department of Natural Resources and the Buchanan County Conservation Board.
Iowa Learning Farms, in partnership with Natural Resources Conservation Service, Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship, and Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, will host a cover crop and wetland field day near Nashua on Thursday, Nov. 7. The 12-2 p.m. event will be held at the Borlaug Learning Center. The event is free, open to the entire family and includes a complimentary meal.

AMES, Iowa — Iowa Learning Farms, along with Scott County Soil and Water Conservation District and Iowa Natural Resource Conservation Service, will host a saturated buffer, water quality and drone field day Thursday, Sept. 19 from 5 -7 p.m. at the Paustian Family Farm, rural Walcott. The event is free,open to families and includes a complimentary meal.
