Come join us at the Hamilton County Conservation Office at Briggs Woods Park for a presentation on Safe Mushroom Foraging. Iowa State University Extension Natural Resources Field Specialist, Gina Buelow will be leading a mushroom foraging hike in Briggs Woods Park after the presentation. Our group will return to the Hamilton County Conservation Office afterwards and enjoy cooking and tasting some edible cultivated mushrooms. This is a field class focused on safe practices and skill building. This is a joint program between the Hamilton County Conservation Board and the Hamilton County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach. The cost is $25.00 per person or $35.00 per couple.
