The class will be held at Brown's Woods in West Des Moines from 9:00a to 12:00p and we will spend the first half of the program talking about mushrooms and mushroom foraging, learning how to identify mushrooms, and testing our skills with pre-picked specimens! Then we will head into the woods for a hike to see if we can find any spring mushrooms.

The field class has a program fee of $25 and you will receive a beginner foraging pack (mesh drawstring bag, paper bags, ruler, and a copy of the ISU Safe Mushroom Foraging field guide).
