DESCRIPTION:Landowners and forest stewards in the Midwest are encouraged to
  attend this year’s May 21 in northwestern Illinois. The conference is s
 ponsored by Iowa State University Extension and Outreach and the Universit
 y of Illinois Extension Forestry Program.&nbsp\;The event will include spe
 akers from both universities\, as well as the Iowa Department of Natural R
 esources\, Illinois DNR\, private forestry consultants\, forest soils grad
 uate students\, and more. Attendees can expect topics ranging from traditi
 onal woodland management techniques to invasive species ecology and ID\, p
 rescribed woodland fire\, forest wildlife management\, and soils and soil
