Concerned with oaks dying on your property? A workshop on Forest-Pests will be led by the Forest Health Forester, Tivon Feeley. Topics will include bur oak blight as a major component, oak wilt, emerald ash borer, Asian longhorned beetle, spotted lanternfly, gypsy moth and any questions or topics submitted ahead of time.
The workshop will be held at the Dickinson County Expo Center, 1600 15th St, Spirit Lake, IA 51360 on March 18th 2020. Registration will be between 9:30-10 am and the event will end at 11:30 am. Please RSVP and send questions/topics you want addressed at the event by March 11th to Amber Thompson by calling 515-240-0122 or emailing amber.thompson@dnr.iowa.gov. This workshop is free and open to the public.
