The 25th edition of the Tri-State Forest Stewardship Conference will draw foresters and landowners from Iowa, Illinois and Wisconsin to the Highland Community College in Freeport, Illinois, March 14.
This three-state gathering will feature 20 speakers, ranging from university researchers to private landowners. Topics will include practical applications like setting up a timber sale, estate planning, cost-sharing opportunities, conservation easements and prescribed fires.
